“I would like to convey my thanks to you and your colleagues for making yesterday's golf event a success. The rain disappeared and the condition of the course was superb. If there were to be any disgruntled golfers who played badly, including myself, they certainly could not have blamed the course. The kitchen and bar staff were extremely polite and all who attended complimented us on our choice of club to stage the UK final of the Volvo World Golf Challenge. Once again thank you Sue, Elaine, and all your staff for helping us to make it a memorable event”.
Mr T Vernon-Smith—Organiser Volvo Golf Day (21st October 2015)
“On behalf of all members of NBAGS who played yesterday thank you It was a great day enjoyed by all. The clubs hospitality was perfect from Les seeing us off right through to the dinner which left no one hungry. The course was great and what joy not to have to play out of a few bunkers ! We shall be back next year ”.
Laurence Walters- Organiser NBA Golf Society (9th December 2015)
"Despite the weather we thoroughly enjoyed our day. The course was in lovely condition and you are making sensible alterations regarding the gorse. The welcome we received was terrific and it was especially good of you to come out and greet us, a lot of Managers fail to make an appearance. It was also a nice touch to be assigned a host. The food and service was excellent so as you can see we have nothing but praise for your club. The 4 ball was also a kind thought. Once again many thanks for your hospitality, we will be booking again for next year".
Chris Riely - Rushmere Golf Society (11th May 2016)
We thoroughly enjoyed our day at Northants County and thought the welcome was excellent. It is reassuring to be met by someone from the club and to have things explained. The course was excellent. Hopefully a few of us will be returning for a game via our reciprocal arrangement with the club.
Rob Sutton - Stray Dogs Golf Society (27th May 2016)
The NCGC team really did a fabulous job to ensure that some pretty senior individuals in the building society and related financial services sector has a wonderful day yesterday. From the genial hosts (Jim & David) to the bar and catering staff, pro shop, well presented course and the office it was obvious that we have a very professional set up and I was very proud to be able to say I was a member of our club. Well done all!
Philip Dearing - Building Societies Golf Day (1st July 2016)
We had an excellent day and as far as I am aware there were no hiccups at all - Sue and the rest of your team even managed to organise good weather! The members and guests playing had a great day and I have had numerous positive comments yesterday evening and via emails today . The bar / catering staff coped well even when 100 plus people arrived back at the clubhouse almost at the same time . I am not sure what changes have been made in the kitchens - I can only assume there has been some as I personally thought the meal was significantly better than in previous years. It looks as though we raised over £5,000 for the charity - an excellent result. We look forward to returning again next year.
Steve Valentine - Wooden Spoon Charity Golf Day (6th July 2016)
I had the privilege to host my Away Day at your wonderful Club. It was the first time for most of the group to play on your course, which was in excellent condition and deserves to be selected as a regional qualifier for the 2018 Open Championship. It truly epitomised what a great golf course should be like, enjoyable but still challenging for all levels of golfers and set in wonderful surroundings.
I would like to thank you for a wonderful experience. From the first enquiry right up to the end of the actual day your professionalism, service, attention to detail and willingness to accommodate our requirements were spot on. I would appreciate if you would especially thank the following individuals on our behalf; Sue for making all the arrangements, Gina and her catering staff attending to our catering requirements, and Jim, the starter for looking after us before setting off. Finally I would like to thank you personally for meeting us in person and for the complimentary bottles of wine. That was really a nice touch that does not happen at many other clubs.
Nico Pretorius, Mens Captain - Stratford Oaks Golf Club (22nd July 2016)
Thank you to you and all the team for making our first visit to Northamptonshire County G.C. so enjoyable and memorable. The course was excellent, both aesthetically and in its condition, and a real pleasure to play. Our contact with both staff and members were at all times friendly and welcoming and I would have no hesitation in recommending NCGC. Such was the positive experience by the LINGS group that I would like to book a return visit in March 2018.
Andrew Bardell - Lings Golf Scoeity (24th March 2017)
I just wanted to say a very large 'thank you' to all the staff at Northampton County Golf club for making us so welcome yesterday. Your club always make a terrific effort in respect of vouchers, photographs, starter, prizes and our members were delighted to meet your Club Manager at the outset who welcomed us and even your Captain who called in to say hello during our meal.
The course was in wonderful condition and the greens totally confused a number of our members! The food was as good as ever but above all the staff were extremely polite and helpful. Someone deserves a huge 'pat on the back'. We would love to return next year please at a similar time.
Chris Riley - Rushmere Golf Society (13th April 2017)
The pursuit of the Bacchus Golf Society is to play the Top 100 golf courses. Our expectation to visit your course as a “must play” has been surpassed in a way that we haven’t experienced before from any other club. Of all our years on tour, truly we have been treated to a very special day.
From the warm and generous welcome, superb catering, our starter Keith and to the NCGC members for allowing us to savour such a superb course, speaking for every one of us, a very big thank you.
We all look forward to visiting again soon.
